The content of your site includes the text and images you want on each page.  We get a lot of questions about what parts of the content we can create for clients and what portion you have to provide for your site.  Hopefully the information below will help answer your questions so you can plan out who will be responsible for generating the content for you site.

Text and Wording

We can't write the text portion of your website for you, but we can help format the wording you plan to use.  For the most part, if you send us text or an image, we will add it to the pages for you.  We can even break it up and add headers to make it easier for website visitors and search engines to read.

You can also hire professional writers to create the text portion for you - just be sure they are reputable so you know that they aren't infringing on any copyrights.

Images, Graphics and Animations

This is a little different from the text portion of your website in that we can create or obtain images for you to use if you don't already have them.  We can assist in choosing possible images or you can choose from stock images on sites like iStockphoto and depositphotos.  If you'd like to use images or videos from either of those sites, please let us know and we can discuss pricing options.  You can read more on our Graphics and Photos pages.

Copyright Issues

You are ultimately responsible for the content on your website so it is important to be careful about copyright issues.

If you send us anything with someone else's copyright on it, we may not be able to add it to the site for you due to liability concerns.  The exception is if you have an official copyright release from the copyright holder that explicitly gives you the right to use the content on your website.
